   Women Smile (Part I, II, & III) is completely based on the National Curriculum grid developed by HMG Ministry of Education. The major contents explained in this booklets are mostly focused on the motivations of women especially disadvantageous adolescent for the promotion of women's status and their health and hygiene. It has also stated the measures for the protection of environment and possible ways and means for income generation utilizing locally available physical and human resources. This booklet has covered the problems encountering in the development process of women such as child marriage, unmatched marriage, polygamy, inequality between girls and boys, population growth and superstition. |

  The Literacy Clip Art is targeted for GOs, NGOs, and other agency & other literacy and NFE personnel involving in material development and production. The clip art consists of a CD –ROM, a book form of Clip Art and Guidebook to use the clip art and the CD-ROM. It is the collection of pictures related to different functional contents such as health, and cleanliness, income generation, environment and science, women empowerment, civic awareness, cultural norms and values and other relevant areas. The material is very useful to develop materials at community level. The pictures could be copied from the CD-ROM and designed the materials as required. |

 Rural women are facing many problems such as over loaded of work, large family size, poverty, low production, exploitation by money lender and middle man etc. Forming of women's cooperative is one of the suitable strategy to address those problems by forming saving and credit groups. The members of cooperative of groups can discuss their problems, share ideas and experiences and plan to solve the problem by themselves. This leads the empowerment of women. |

| 17. Use of Compost Manure for Better Production, 1998 | |
 The booklet is prepared to show clearly that random use of chemical fertilizer in agricultural field is dangerous. It hardens the soil and later on decreases production. The chemical fertilizer is only useful for plants and not for soil. Every year the volume of fertilizer should be increased. Most farmers do not know the type of chemical fertilizer actually they need for farming. They even don't know the proper quantity of fertilizer they need for the field. It is very costly and not even available whenever needed because it has to be imported from other countries. That's why compost manure is better to make healthy soil. Crops grow with healthy soil. It can be easily make with the proper use of waste materials. Different methods of making compost manure and its utilization are shown in the booklet. Hence, it is hoped that the learners will be encouraged to make the compost manure and use it for more production. |
